Capacitance Manometer and Capacitance Diaphragm Vacuum Gauge (CDG)
Capacitance Manometer and Capacitance Diaphragm Vacuum Gauge (CDG)
The Fredericks Company is proud to offer the Brook Instruments XacTorr® CMX Series Capacitance Manometer as part of our comprehensive vacuum measurement lineup. Capacitance Manometers, sometimes called Capacitance Diaphragm Gauges (CDGs), provide direct, gas-independent readings by sensing the tiny deflection of a tensioned diaphragm. That means you won’t need to recalibrate whenever you switch process gases. You’ll get the same reliable performance when working with helium, argon, or nitrogen.
The XacTorr® CMX Series Capacitance Manometer integrates seamlessly with the MX200, MX200 EthernetIP, the MX200 PROFINET vacuum controllers, and the MX Series Active Vacuum Gateway for Active Vacuum Gauges, like the MX4A Convection or MX7B Cold Cathode Active Vacuum Gauges. In these configurations, you can select pressure ranges of 0.1 Torr, 10 Torr, or 1000 Torr to suit your application needs.
Each XacTorr® CMX Series Capacitance Manometer uses a tensioned diaphragm and precision electrode in a sealed reference chamber. A fully digital bridge circuit with built-in temperature compensation converts capacitance changes into stable, drift-free pressure readings, meaning no manual potentiometers required! The patented sensor design resists contamination, dual-zone thermal control delivers fast warm-up and minimal drift, and Intelli-Touch zeroing lets you reset locally or via remote command only after proper warm-up.
Whether you’re in semiconductor fabrication, thin-film deposition, vacuum furnace operations, research laboratories, or industrial gas production, Fredericks-supplied XacTorr® Capacitance Manometers deliver the wide dynamic range and low-maintenance reliability you need.
